themediahouse® GmbH, a successful print and advertising company is the creative force behind the motioncutter®.
Jörg Scheffler founded the company 1991 in Mühlacker nerby Stuttgart at the early beginnings of the digitalization of the printing industry. Focused on customer demands the company grew fast as well horizontal as vertical.

1997 he installed one of the first digital offset presses in Germany to complete the product portfolio. With this installation the company split into 4 business units: mediaconcept, mediadesign, mediadata and mediaprint.

Focused on customer demands over the internet Jörg Scheffler developed an awarded web-to-print solution for direct mailings. To be able to offer attractive and highly personalized direct mailings he saw the demand for a machine that can cut digitally.

As there was no solution on the market, he decided to build a machine initially for his own production.

The idea of the motioncutter® was born and went into reality – with the mind and thinking of a printer. After being very successful with the applications the interest in this system grew. He then decided to bring this solution to the market as "the printing industry needs new impulses these days". Several patents on the system set the base to become manufacturer.

2013 Shaun Stanley joined and build up the Business Development and Sales Department located in the UK. Focused on international markets the first units got sold all over Europe followed by installations in the USA. During 2 years the fascinating report is: more than 30 sales in 17 countries on 4 continents.
